This is an illustration made by Filipe Jardim. He is a Brazilian guy who made it as an international illustrator. Started as a serious man in a suit, gave it all up to pursue his artistic career ( sources tell me he was actually surfing for a year ) and then... Louis Vuitton hired him to illustrate their
carnet de voyage about Rio de Janeiro. He put his heart into it and everything happened after that. I love this image because it shows Filipe's style without compromising the brand's identity. He also introduces NYC as a 3rd element that adds so much to the image. Well done.
